Where true New Zealand hospitality surrounds you
"Thank you both for a truly wonderful and magical visit. All your help, advice, warmth and delicious breakfasts!"
Carol and John welcome you to Copper Beech Fine Accommodation -
we invite you to base yourself here while exploring New Zealand's Nelson and Tasman regions.
Set in two acres of garden, our home offers privacy and seclusion, yet is still conveniently located for central Motueka.
Our superbly appointed guestrooms ensure your comfort, while we are happy to assist with any queries you may have.
We're ideally located for exploring New Zealand's Abel Tasman
and Kahurangi National Parks - if you'd like reservations for activities,
please just ask.
Or visit some of Nelson and Tasman's vineyards, wineries and artisans.
Revive yourself in one of the area's many excellent cafés or restaurants,
and enjoy being surrounded by outstanding scenery.
After your day's exploring, wander through the gardens
and enjoy our eclectic collection of artworks. Or retreat to the summer-house with a relaxing book.
John is one of New Zealand's leading landscape artists - you're welcome to wander through his studio, set in the grounds, if you wish.
Enjoy a glass of complimentary wine on the patio.
Look out to the Mt Arthur range over the neighbouring wetland.
Watch the resident white heron and cheeky pukekos.
Fantail and tui song (some of New Zealand's birds) may greet you in the morning.
We've enjoyed welcoming people to this wonderful region of New Zealand for many years.
Carol will
and ensure you start your day with a delicious breakfast,
served alfresco in the courtyard, or in the dining area,
warmed by the morning sun.
Motueka is a fruit-growing region and seasonal fare is used where possible.
Platters of fresh fruit are served with yoghurt,
homemade
almond and honey muesli.
Your taste buds are tempted with a selection of seasonal seafood,
stuffed mushrooms, bacon whirls and homemade delicacies.
Savour freshly made coffee while you plan your day.
We're happy to help you with your itinerary if you wish.
We were both born in New Zealand and love sharing our country.
We enjoy travelling extensively and appreciate how local advice
can ensure you don't overlook some of the region's treasures.
"Absolutely delightful! Generous beyond words!
Look forward to our next visit -
shall not be long.
Thank you both."
